In a colorful shuffle of creativity and adventure, Mattel has partnered with prolific aerial photographer Gray Malin for the latest edition of its UNO Artiste Series.
Malin’s signature style captures the essence of exotic landscapes and iconic destinations from above, infusing each card with a sense of wanderlust and escapism. From sun-soaked beaches to snowy ski slopes, and even playful images featuring dogs, the deck showcases a diverse selection of his most captivating shots.

This limited-edition deck marks Malin as the first photographer to join the series, bringing his unique lens to the card table.

In a statement shared with DesignTAXI, Malin expresses his excitement about integrating his photography into a game that has been a part of his life since childhood, noting a shared mission of celebrating togetherness.

The UNO Artiste Series has a history of celebrating influential artists, having previously featured works by Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, Takashi Murakami, Nina Chanel Abney, Shepard Fairey, and Shantell Martin. Malin’s participation makes him the seventh creator of this vibrant pack.

For those seeking a little respite from the routine of life, the UNO Artiste Series: Gray Malin will be available on the Mattel Creations website starting September 19 at 9am PT, with a suggested retail price of US$25. Additionally, select Macy’s stores and the Macy’s site will carry the deck from mid-October.
