McDonald’s Perks Up Its Golden Arches Logo For Playful 2020 McCafé Campaign

McDonald’s awakens its McCafé branding in Germany with a massive 2020 campaign surrounding the topic of coffee.
The ad campaign, created by independent agency Leo’s Thjnk Tank, comprises a television spot and online graphics illustrating “what coffee lovers really care about—simply good coffee!”
Among the perky visuals are playful recreations of McDonald’s Golden Arches logo, which has been reimagined as a sleepy character with hooded eyelids, and then restored to appear alert. In both versions, coffee beans are depicted as the logos’ pupils.
The post image is all “thanks to a really good coffee, of course,” explains McDonald’s Germany in a press release.
