The Madame Tussauds museum removed its likenesses of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle following their decision to “step back” as senior members of the royal family.
Soon after the news broke, London’s famous wax museum took it upon itself to make changes to the royal family’s wax display.
The figurine set previously featured Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Phillip, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge William and Kate Middleton, and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Now, the waxworks of the Sussex couples have been separated from the family.
“From today, Meghan and Harry’s figures will no longer appear in our Royal Family set,” Steve Davies, general manager at Madame Tussauds in London, confirmed in a statement.
This action aims to reflect the Sussexes’ “progressive new roles within the Royal institution.”

THOUGHTS: Wax figures of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle removed from Royal Family display at Madame Tussauds’. Premature or warranted? 🤔 pic.twitter.com/LdsZzqHqq6
