Wendy’s is staying true to its savage self this new year. The fast food chain, known for trolling its competitors to the delight of its followers, is back to roasting in 2020 with McDonald’s as its latest and constant victim.
It all started when Twitter user Adam Fyn shared a blurry snap of a black McDonald’s delivery truck with its famous golden arches on its side. “What would you call this?” he asked Wendy’s.
Wendy’s brazenly replied, “Is it a garbage truck?”
The takedown did not stop there, of course. When a customer argued that McDonald’s was better, Wendy’s hit back, stating, “at freezing their beef, sure.”
UPS’ customer support, too, joined in on the fun and called the tweet “savage.”
Wendy’s comeback now has over a million likes on Twitter, proving that it is a masterful online troll.
