Apple News has introduced a 2020 election hub to offer extensive coverage of the presidential election to users of different political backgrounds, inviting them to converge and stay ahead with political updates.
The feature provides live information, key stories, resources and candidates’ profiles. News stories, curated by Apple News, hail from reporting and analysis by ABC News, CBS News, CNN, Fox News, NBC News, ProPublica, Reuters, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, TIME, USA Today and more.
A resources section highlights various pressing issues including foreign affairs, trade, immigration, education, health care, and income inequality.
With the hub’s simple layout, users can conveniently look up the news section at the top, followed by the candidate profiles, and finally, the election issues at the bottom.
The next Democratic debate in New Hampshire on 7 February 2020 will be live-streamed on Apple News via ABC News. The debate will also be live-streamed directly on the Apple TV app on various devices.
iPhone, iPad and Mac users can head on over to the Today tab in the News app to look through the special 2020 election coverage.
