The world has been showing a very different side of itself since the global coronavirus outbreak. People are stockpiling toilet paper and fighting one another to get hold of limited packs. Stores are running out of hand sanitizers, as well.
While the World Health Organization has declared COVID-19 to be a Public Health Emergency of International Concern, much of people’s worries are driven by mass panic, which medical experts say could be more serious than the virus itself.
Stephen King is introducing some positivity to the matter with the last clown you’d expect to bring cheer to your life: Pennywise.
In IT, the killer clown entices little Georgie to join him in the sewer by promising to return his paper boat. Georgie is convinced, and the monster heinously eats him up.
King refreshed that scene with a meme of Pennywise, this time with the bait of hand sanitizer.
“I got hand sanitizer down here…” the clown is depicted to say.
If this ever happens to you, ignore the clown because you can easily make your own hand sanitizer.
