Quiet Place Part II actor and director John Krasinski has launched a new YouTube channel, Some Good News, dedicated to offering some positive news amid the coronavirus unease around the world. Krasinski had previously rallied his Twitter followers to hook him up with a large dosage of optimistic bulletins from the globe, which are now reported in his new show.
“Ladies and gentlemen, this is your fault, and this is SGN,” the actor began the debut episode. He went on to explain how people could really use some good news amid all the anxiety and confusion during the crisis, before presenting a lineup of news.
Among all the news, he praised the earnest medical community for working so hard during the coronavirus outbreak and spotlighted Coco, a young cancer survivor, who received applause by her neighborhood.
If these aren’t enough to tug at your heartstrings, Krasinski invited Steve Carell, his co-star from The Office, for an online interview via video chat. They both reminisced happy memories during filming of the hit sitcom and laughed over Carell’s favorite moment in episode 13 of season four, titled Dinner Party.
For strictly good vibes, watch SGN below.
