A 93-year-old woman went viral online after holding up a sign reading “I Need More Beer!” during her quarantine.
The photo shows Olive Veronesi from Pittsburgh standing by her window and holding up the sign and a can of Coors Light. The image has been shared several times on the internet.
Veronesi told local television station KDKA that she winds down every night with a beer. Since the photo’s surfacing, fans have been sending beers to her.
The snap soon captured the attention of the beer company, who took matters into its own hands and sent 150 cans to her. “We came. We saw. We delivered to a friend in need. Cheers, Olive!” Coors Light wrote on Twitter alongside a photo of Veroesi now holding a sign that read, “Got more beer!”
