If you love Wes Anderson’s films, you’ll likely enjoy his favorite movies and television shows too. The renowned director of The Grand Budapest Hotel fame recently shared his must-watch list with the National Centre for Cinema and the Moving Image in France to keep you company during self-isolation.
Proving to be a film buff, Anderson recommended five movies and only one television show. He also suggested checking out two of his favorite books, Sam Wasson’s The Big Goodbye: Chinatown and the Last Years of Hollywood and P.G. Wodehouse’s Loudier and Funnier.
It comes as no surprise that Anderson has a soft spot for retro films by the likes of Marco Ferreri, William Wyler, and Seth Holt. Have a closer look at his watch list after the scroll.
Movies
La Grand Bouffe (1973)
The Conjugal Bed (1963)
