Sex workers in the UK are doing their part to support healthcare workers fighting the coronavirus with a new campaign called ‘#WanksAsThanks’ on the OnlyFans platform.
The initiative hopes to raise funds for UK frontline professionals while providing them with free access to adult performers’ content. The service is free for NHS workers, while others can access fresh content for £5 (US$6.20) per month with the proceeds heading to the NHS coronavirus appeal.
UK-based sex worker Alexxa Vice started the hashtag when she began offering free access to her page for healthcare workers. Soon, other adult performers jumped on the bandwagon, per Dazed.
Adult performers can contribute to the campaign by donating their content through an online application form, while medical staff in the UK can access the exclusive pages for free.
