Netflix has left many viewers divided over its erotically-charged drama, 365 DNI.
The Polish show tells the story of mafia boss Massimo Torricelli, who kidnaps and imprisons executive Laura Biel during a vacation.
The show features racy scenes of BDSM and voyeurism, which have garnered mixed reviews by social media users. Some fans thought it was the “hottest thing ever” that “made Fifty Shades of Grey look PG,” but others thought it “romanticizes” sexual harassment.
“Please remember that there is a huge difference between fantasy and reality. If you are a guy, please don’t get any ideas,” one Twitter user said.
“It romanticizes harassment, there’s Stockholm syndrome (which is a mental condition from which a victim falls in love with her abductor and should not be normalized),” another user tweeted. They pleaded others to stop comparing the show to Fity Shades of Grey, as the film stresses on consent.
Despite the criticism, the Polish show has made viewers “feeling hot” while watching it. “If anyone is a Fifty Shades fan they need to watch 365 DNI. I’m sweating,” one wrote.
“Honestly, how Netflix approved that pornographic film called 365 DNI is beyond me. 10 minutes and my eyes,” said another.
#365dni please remember that there is a huge difference between fantasy and reality. If you are a guy, pls don't get any ideas. No girl wants to be kidnapped and made to fall in love.

AND SHOULD NOT BE NORMALIZED). sure— the sex scenes are great and very intimate. but all of these happened after few sexual harassment and uncomfortable scenarios. I MEAN— STOP COMPARING IT TO FSOG. clearly, fsog stated that grey was under a mental instability— AND MASSIMO WAS++
