When it comes to method acting, Shia LaBeouf always goes above and beyond to get into the film’s role. The actor committed himself to his new character by getting a “whole chest” tattoo for the upcoming movie, The Tax Collector.
Director David Ayer told Slash Film that LaBeouf “got his whole chest tattooed” for his new role, Creeper, in the forthcoming film.
The 34-year-old will play a “tax collector” for a crime lord known as Wizard. The actor now has the word “creeper” inked on his abdomen along with the rest of the design filling up his entire chest.
Ayer also mentioned that LaBeouf got his teeth removed for the 2014 film Fury to get the right look for his character. He even cut his face and reopened the wound because he felt the makeup was not realistic enough.
Co-star Logan Lerman told British GQ that LaBeouf took “out a knife and cut his face” for the film. He even left the wound exposed throughout to keep it looking realistic enough.
