Gucci has introduced a non-binary, genderless section on its website called Mx.
The brand echoes the sentiment that fashion knows no gender, as the new section goes beyond the limited female and male labels. The Mx section will be updated regularly when new collections launch on the website.
At the new Pre-Fall and Fall/Winter 2020 campaign, non-binary models were enlisted to wear the collection, which includes ready-to-wear items, shoes, and handbags.
Gucci showcased its Jackie 1961 bag as the brand’s first genderless handbag. The iconic piece gained popularity after becoming a favorite of Jackie Kennedy.
The new section, featuring the latest collection, can now be seen on Gucci’s website under “Mx.”
