The ocean remains to be a mysterious place barely explored by humans. Fortunately, a Deep Sea simulator is here to help you dive into the depths of the ocean to learn about some of the more obscure creatures that have been discovered so far.
The simulator was created by computer scientist and creative coder Neal Agarwal, who first shared his informative yet claustrophobic interactive visualization of the ocean back in 2019.
Users can scroll through the website and discover sea dwellers at various levels until the bottom of the ocean floor, which sits at 35,840 feet from land.
For starters, you can view the Atlantic salmon at 13 feet deep, and then the polar bear at the 55-foot mark. Around 3,800 feet from the surface, you can meet the infamous blobfish, and the chilling goblin shark around 4,212 feet deep.
Explore the ocean with the simulator here.
