It’s no secret that celebrities love their Teslas. Unfortunately, Shaquille O’Neal is missing out due to mere genetics.
The basketball legend attempted to enter actor Anthony C. Hall’s Tesla Model S, but his towering height of seven feet and one inch forbade him from fitting into the flagship electric car with ease.
He ended up crouching—with the seat pushed all the way back—to ensure the ceiling wouldn’t hurt his head, and uncomfortably pulled his knees in to accommodate the car’s size.
After managing to finally squeeze into the Tesla, O’Neal made an evidently valid suggestion to Tesla CEO Elon Musk on how to design the company’s next car, asking, “Elon, you wanna make a big boy Tesla?”
The struggle of the former NBA champ, along with his frustrated remark, elicited a hearty laugh from Hall.
Previously, Musk declared that if the notorious Sci-Fi-inspired Cybertruck turns out to be a “complete failure” when it officially goes on sale in 2021, Tesla will bring in a “fallback strategy.” The model is especially spacious, though, and might actually be a hot favorite among the Shaqs of the world.
