Burger King is keeping up with the coronavirus pandemic through a drastic redesign of its restaurants with drive-thru and pickup options, unveiling renderings of the planned revamp on Thursdasy.
The images show a sleek storefront with a spacious drivable area and socially-distanced ordering sections.
With the pickup cubbies and curbside delivery area, customers can make mobile orders and grab their meals without any contact with the staff.
The company has also reduced its dining space by 60-percent to enlarge its kitchen for improved efficiency in the workflow.
The design was developed in light of what Burger King describes as the “COVID world.”
The chain will be rolling out the new look in Miami, Latin America, and the Caribbean in 2021. In the meantime, take a look at the new restaurant designs below.
