For once, the Joe Biden campaign team believes a promise US president Donald Trump has made, and is even openly endorsing it.
Among a row of hit-or-miss adverts, the Biden campaign released a 10-second clip of Trump at a rally in Fayetteville, North Carolina on Saturday. “If I lose to [Joe Biden] I don’t know what I’m gonna do,” Trump was shown to declare. “I will never speak to you again. You’ll never see me again.”
The video ends with a gleeful Biden responding, “I’m Joe Biden and I approve this message.”
The snippet of Trump was recorded after POTUS insisted that a senator had told him Biden was “the dumbest of all candidates.”
