Earlier this week, Burger King Japan released a mysterious addition to its menu called “The Fake Burger.”
The promotional photo showed a burger with the middle portion blurred out in mosaic, leaving many to wonder what exactly is in the burger.
Now, the fast-food chain has revealed the burger, as well as the ingredients in it. It turns out to be basically a burger loaded with French fries. It is also topped off with Ketchup, a layer of meat sauce, and mayonnaise.
The meat sauce is touted to be made with 100-percent beef, in case the potatoes doesn’t give the full bite of a burger. The burger is now sold for a limited time at 290 yen (US$2.75).
