Who says the bathhouse from Spirited Away is just a figment of the imagination? If you put your mind to it, it can now exist on your desk.
Studio Ghibli has just unveiled a detailed wooden version of the fantastical location and its accompanying bridge in its official store, Donguri Republic.
Even without Zeniba’s spells, fans and hobbyists can put together the structure without adhesives or cutters, Grape Japan reports. The eight-inch-tall puzzle even comes with its own mini No-Face and Chihiro, who can be spotted peering out of a window.
Breathing life into the bathhouse, the 3D model is illuminated with LED lights when plugged in to bring more magic to the table.
According to the publication, rumor has it that the architecture of the bathhouse in the 2001 animation is somewhat inspired by one from creator Hayao Miyazaki’s hometown.
Fans can now pre-order the kit at JP¥15,000 (US$145) before its launch in late November.
