Harry Styles has made history by being the first-ever male star to grace the cover of Vogue magazine in its 127-year history.
The singer, of course, did it with a twist. Styles wowed fans with a Gucci dress for the breathtaking shoot, complete with lace overlay.
The cover saw Styles donning the blue dress underneath a black blazer as he blew a balloon. The dress had a fit-and-flare silhouette, a tiered skirt, and a lace trim.
The accompanying shoot found the singer sporting a white and pink tutu over a generously cut suit as he posed in an open field.
Styles also modeled a series of kilts in other photos. In one, the singer displayed his butterfly torso tattoo in an open jacket as he bounced on a small trampoline in a high-waisted variation of the kilt. He wore a notably longer version of the garment in another distinctive shot.
His older sister, Gemma Styles, also played a part in the shoot, and was seen donning a glamorous bandage strapped dress as she sat alongside Harry on a remote bench.
In the accompanying interview, Styles admitted that he enjoyed dressing up and was not prohibited by society’s gender barriers about what to wear.
“Clothes are there to have fun with and experiment with and play with,” he said. “There’s clothes for men and there’s clothes for women. Once you remove any barriers, obviously you open you open up the arena in which you can play.”
