Nike has released its Adapt Auto Max sneaker series that allows its wearer to alter its appearance with technology.
The new footwear is designed with a breathable mesh upper and TPU plate that hugs the foot for comfort and stability. It is also equipped with power laces and ‘FitAdapt’ technology, so users can pick their favorite look and lightning for the sneakers.
The technology enables wearers to switch between two modes for the sneakers, one for active moments and the other for leisure. It also lets them personalize illumination for the sneakers to 13 color options. You can even activate the lighting to pulse for up to an hour.
The FitAdapt technology is optimized with Siri and Google Assistant, so wearers can simply use their voice to instruct design changes for their shoes.
The Adapt Auto Max, priced at US$400, is set to release on 26 December 2020 on Nike SNKRS and select retail stores.
