If you enjoy sprucing up your Zoom video calls with fun backgrounds, the National Institute of Japanese Literature has offered downloadable iconic Japanese artworks as free wallpapers, perfect for video meetings.
The 10 artworks, spanning from the Heian Period to the Meiji Period, include the Night Parade of One Hundred Demons, which features supernatural spirits aimed to scare locals; and The Tale of Genji, a dreamy piece that pays homage to the vibrant landscape of Japanese literature and illustrations of Tokyo’s bustling streets from the Meiji Period.
