Japanese fans will soon get to celebrate Super Mario’s 35th anniversary with a range of themed bites at their local convenience store.
Starting 5 February through 1 March, Nintendo will be releasing a limited range of snacks, based on various characters from the Mario universe, across Japan’s 7-Eleven stores.
The range includes Mario’s mix roll, a special spaghetti sandwich; Yoshi’s melon bread, a green criss-cross bread filled with melon-flavored custard and whipped cream; Bowser’s spicy fried chicken sandwich; Princess Peach Dolce, a dessert with flavors of lemon, strawberry and milk; and a Fire Flower Flame Curry Bun.
7-Eleven is also holding an Ichiban Kuji lottery, where fans get a chance to win prizes ranging from a Super Mario-themed towel to soap dispenser.
