After its partnerships with J Balvin and Travis Scott, McDonald’s is back with a new celebrity meal. This time, it’s teaming up with massive Korean pop group BTS, and it’s going global.
The ‘BTS Meal’ will go on sale May 26 in the US, Canada, and Brazil, with nearly 50 countries following soon after. It consists of the “superstar band’s signature order,” McDonald’s said. According to its press release, the meal will consist of a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets box, medium fries and Coca-Cola.
Joining the launch is the US debut of two new dipping sauces: sweet chili and cajun. The fast-food chain said these two flavors were inspired by McDonald’s South Korea recipes.
The fact McDonald’s has decided to extend its celebrity meal program worldwide just shows how well-received the initiative has been. As CNN points out, similar to its previous collaborations, the BTS Meal includes already-existing menu items, with two new special sauces that are easy to include.
Get ready to brave the long queues when you pop into your local McDonald’s joint this May.
