Adidas has revealed another pair of eco-friendly shoes after unveiling sustainable Stan Smiths made from mushroom leather.
The latest offering to its Ultraboost franchise is the Adidas ‘Made to Be Remade’ Ultraboost. Adidas breaks down how the shoes stand out on their product page, writing, “You wear it out. Return it. And we reuse the materials in something new.”
The ‘Made to Be Remade’ Ultraboost is made out of used materials and is constructed with no dye or glue. It also has a QR code that, when scanned, gives insight on how to get more out of the Made to be Remade service, which will help wearers in the returning process when the kicks are ready to be sent back.
The sneaker features a sock-like fit, the Primeknit material on the uppers, and a responsive Boost midsole cushioning.
Priced at US$180, the Adidas ‘Made to Be Remade’ Ultraboost arrives via adidas.com on April 22 at 11am ET.
