If you often wonder where IKEA gets its names from, this moniker might be the one that doesn’t fly over your head.
Cristiano Ronaldo has somehow made the idea of drinking water less bland, and brands are lapping it up. IKEA Canada is the latest to take a large gulp of this PR spectacle, and has taken to social media to show off its sustainable and reusable glass bottle, which now bears the name ‘CRISTIANO’.
This comes after the Portuguese soccer superstar openly replaced two Coca-Cola bottles with water, and mouthed the word “agua,” at a press conference for Euro 2020. Media outlets reported a US$4 billion dip in market value following the gesture.
The original KORKEN bottle might be advertised to hold other liquids like milk and lingonberry juice, which admittedly almost matches cola in color, but the furniture giant insists that the ‘CRISTIANO’ version is “for water only.”
With that being said, the item would be a baller asset to help you stay hydrated, being able to hold 34 ounces of agua. Its stopper ensures no drop gets wasted, a feature that Ronaldo would certainly appreciate.
