Being a super-cool super-spy is now a slightly more attainable dream for kids who have just seen James Bond’s stunts, and that’s thanks to The Little Car Company.
The British luxury toy car manufacturer has just unveiled its latest model: a fun-sized replica of Bond’s Aston Martin DB5. This comes in celebration of the upcoming movie starring the man himself, No Time To Die.
Scaled down to two-thirds of the original size, the iconic Aston Martin DB5 comes equipped with everything a spy would need on their mission, built-in simulated Gatling guns included. These are deployed with a single button push, which drops the headlights to allow the imitation guns to come into action.

For heart-pounding escapes, there’s a “skid mode” and the smokescreen, flourishing via the rear exhaust pipe, to ensure a clean getaway. And in line with super-secret spy business, all the gadgets can be operated via a hidden control panel in the passenger door.

On its exterior, a cycling digital number plate boasts a high-tech take on the classic revolving number plate. The signature Aston Martin and 007 badging is prominently displayed among Silver Birch paintwork and individually numbered chassis plates, its sleek silhouette and polished finish making you almost forget that this is actually a kids’ car.

It wouldn’t be a modern-day rework of a car if it wasn’t electric: four 1.8 kWh batteries are stacked in its neat frame, with a 21.5bhp motor that will take the car all the way up to a whopping 45mph. But don’t take this car out to test its powers: it’s not road-legal.

This limited production run will only comprise 125 vehicles, each priced at £90,000 (US$120,000). It can seat an adult and a child side by side, its design careful not to leave the adults out of the fun too.
What a way to make a clean break from weekday bedtimes.
