Furla has tweaked the recipe for its jelly Candy bags with a touch of natural sweetness. The all-new Re-Candy silhouette, unveiled during Milan Fashion Week, marks the Italian high-end brand’s first dip into sustainable bags.
The revamp celebrates the 10th anniversary of the original Candy bag. To lighten its environmental footprint, Furla teamed up with Italian companies “very focused on implementing sustainable solutions”—most notably regenerative design firm Nativa—giving us Re-Candy, which is constructed with recycled plastic.
To keep ink use at a minimum, the Furla and Re-Candy brandings are embossed on the bags. Meanwhile, the bag’s label is printed on FSC-certified paper, and the accompanying recycled cotton backpack is colored in natural dyes.

To find the sweet spot, Re-Candy owners can alternate between shoulder straps, which are crafted from recycled materials themselves and are available in various colors to keep the look fresh.
Best of all, the bag is designed to help you stretch your dollar—it’s purposefully built for a long lifespan, keeping the tendency to overbuy low. However, if you’re done with it, you could even fully recycle the Re-Candy.
