Samsung has revealed its newest additions to the Galaxy Book lineup, hot on the heels of Apple’s recent unveiling of the new MacBook Pros last week.
The trio of the Galaxy Book, Galaxy Book Odyssey, and Galaxy Book Pro 360 5G will see the marriage of portability and performance with “powerful productivity” thanks to the all-new Windows 11, encased in sleek, unobstructive design.
First up is the Galaxy Book, boasting a minimalist lightweight design. A 15.6-inch Full HD touchscreen and dedicated graphics card promise vibrant graphics and minimal lag. Plus, Dolby Atmos surround sound, Bluetooth 5.1, and Wi-Fi 6 are all included in a neat black-and-silver package.

Next is the Galaxy Book Odyssey, which is equipped with “all the power you need for serious work and play.” The latest 11th Gen Intel Core H-series processors, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050Ti GPU, and 83Wh battery will deliver high performance regardless of what the laptop is up to at any given moment.
There’s also a built-in Odyssey Control app, which will allow users to adjust CPU, GPU, RAM usage, and monitor fan speed. Like the Galaxy Book, its screen measures 15.6 inches, but this one also comes with anti-glare treatment and a brightness of 300 nits.
Its beveled design, touted as “futuristic,” is also “made to help you stand out in a crowd.”

And last, but certainly not the least, is the Galaxy Book Pro 360 5G. All the benefits of 5G are wonderfully present in this device, promising “virtually zero lag” and the additional security that comes with not needing to use public WiFi when out and about.
In fact, with this device, you can turn “any location into a mobile office, conference room or theater,” Samsung states.

Its 13.3-inch AMOLED touchscreen is offering an “unparalleled visual experience” for both entertainment and creativity, and its design means that it can be converted into a tablet. Of course, the device will also come with an S Pen.
All this power fits neatly into a package that is “as thin as a smartphone” and weighs in at less than 2.5 pounds.

“PCs are more important in our daily lives than ever—at home, the office, the classroom, and anywhere in between,” shares Leroy Williams, Senior Vice President of Mobile Business at Samsung, in the products’ news release.
“By expanding our award-winning laptop portfolio, we’re giving consumers more choices to find the power and features they need.”
While theGalaxy Book, starting from US$749.99, is available for purchase now, the other two models are coming a little bit later. The Galaxy Book Odyssey and Galaxy Book Pro 5G will both be available from November 11, starting at US$1,399.99.
