Apple To Launch ‘Tiger Print’ Beats Studio Buds To Celebrate The Lunar New Year
By Ell Ko, 29 Dec 2021
It was announced this week that Apple, alongside Beats, will be releasing a new limited-edition run of the Beats Studio Buds. These come just in time for the Lunar New Year, which falls on February 1, 2022.
Decked in an auspicious bright red, the charging case and earbuds feature a gold tiger print with a metallic sheen, perfect for ushering in the Year of the Tiger. Of course, the brand’s signature ‘b’ logo is included as well, standing out in a clean white.
Similar to their standard black, white, or red counterparts, these earbuds boast features such as active noise cancellation and Siri support, as well as IPX4-rated sweat and water resistance.
Per MacRumors, these limited Studio Buds will be available in China starting January 1 and will retail for 1,099 yuan (US$172.50). This is around the same price as the regular earbuds.
Currently, it hasn’t been further confirmed if these will be available in any other countries. But, you could argue, this only adds to the exclusivity of it all.
