‘Beavis And Butt-Head’ Will Return To Screens, And They’ve Aged Up

Celebrities: Where are they now? If you’ve been wondering that about Beavis and Butt-Head, you’ll get your answer when they make a comeback in the streaming era, older but maybe not wiser.
The classic animated comedy’s creator Mike Judge recently announced on Twitter that the series is being rebooted in more ways than one, starting with a film on Paramount+. That’s coming sometime this year, though there isn’t a specific date yet.
Why? Well, after a decade of shying away from audiences, the friends aren’t in their best form, and Judge has got the pictures to prove it.

Keep in mind that it’s been 30 years since the duo first appeared on television, so there’s been a lot of lost time. “They need some time to get back in shape,” noted Judge.
The bespectacled Beavis has chipped teeth and a little belly—though he still has a full head of hair—while Butt-Head has put on some pounds and now sports a receding hairline.
Whether or not these middle-aged appearances will be a permanent fixture in the reboots, or if they’re just a marketing ploy, isn’t quite clear at this time. The new character designs, however, could open up a whole avenue of ideas that creators can explore.
