If you’re looking for a new abode and have some change to spare, how about the most expensive home in all of America?
The Beverly Hills mansion, named The One, will go under the hammer at Concierge Auctions next month, with bids starting from a whopping US$295 million.
For the staggering price, you’ll get 105,000 square feet of space with 3.8 acres of land. The house comprises 21 bedrooms, 42 full bathrooms, and 7 half bathrooms for good measure.
Of course, such an expansion mansion has special features to offer. There’s a two-story library, five pools, spa room, nightclub, and 10,000-square-foot sky deck to enjoy with family and friends.
Sports enthusiasts can spend time trying out the jogging track, fitted-out gym, bowling alley, and tennis court. Plus, like any good home around the corner, you still have space for a cinema, salon, separate guest home, staff quarters, and a 10,000-bottle wine cellar.
As per Architectural Digest, it appears that its current price tag is quite the deal, considering the home was once estimated to be worth US$500 million.
According to Thrillist, the developer, Crestlloyd LLC, went bankrupt last October, which could explain the steep price drop.
In addition to the top-of-the-line facilities, the sale will include art pieces. This includes an abstract sculpture by Mike Fields, a buttery installation by Stephanie Fields, and a glass sculpture by Simone Cenedese.
“The One is a mega-mansion that’s truly an architectural triumph,” said Aaron Kirman, agent for the property.
“The new buyer will be lucky to live in the most trophy property that money can buy,” he added.
Who will snag this incredible estate? Well, with a US$250,000 deposit required for anyone wanting to make a bid, it’ll have to be someone with very deep pockets.
