Apple To Launch ‘Mac Studio’ Computer & 7K Monitor For Creative Professionals

Last week, Apple announced its upcoming “peek performance” event will be taking place on March 8.
Rumors have swirled as to what the technology giant may be debuting, with whispers of a budget iPhone making the rounds.
Now, according to a new report from 9to5Mac, it appears Apple may be set to launch a new Mac model for professionals, dubbed the ‘Mac Studio’.
The site’s sources said the ‘Mac Studio’—which could have its name changed—will comprise two models, one running on the M1 Max chip unveiled last year, and the other on a newer, faster silicon chip.
Alongside the Mac could be the ‘Apple Studio Display’, a high-end monitor with 7K resolution to complement the setup.
Mashable posits the two devices will be unveiled together as a package for professionals in creative industries, such as editors in Hollywood, who require more advanced features.
Additionally, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman believes even more new Macs will make an appearance at WWDC in June, so Apple fans could have a myriad of options to choose from this year.
