If you’ve found somebody who can tolerate your incessant double-dipping eating habits, don’t let them get away. Luckily, Hidden Valley Ranch appears to have the perfect gem to express your desire for commitment.
The company has produced an actual two-carat diamond using ranch seasoning to impress the special person in your life who looks like a total snack. There’s only one in the world, and it will go to the highest bidder on eBay.
Set on a 14K white gold band, ‘The Ranch Diamond’ serves as a “beautiful and timeless way for ranch lovers to show their love for each other and ranch.”
To turn salad seasoning into a carat, Hidden Valley Ranch heated it up to 2,500 degrees, before crushing the product under 400 tons of pressure. It took five months for the precious diamond in the rough to reach its final form.
For a more personal touch, the inside of the ring is engraved with: “HVR LVR.” It is then inserted into a special Hidden Valley Range ring box and pouch.

The diamond was placed for auction on National Ranch Day, on March 10, for a starting price of US$310—marking the date. As of the time of writing, though, bids have risen to an eye-watering US$11,350.
For their opulent gesture, the winning ranch lover will be supporting a great cause, with 100% of proceeds from the auction being donated to Feeding America. The ring will arrive at the recipient’s doorstep by March 20, which happens to be National Proposal Day.
