Your mother deserves crisp flowers on Mother’s Day, but to reach both her heart and stomach, try adding crisp fried chicken too.
For the special day, KFC is introducing the ‘Kentucky Fried Buckquet’, which tops the fried chicken bouquets it served one Valentine’s Day by adding a personal flair. The Buckquet is a floral arrangement kit with real roses that you can beautify with KFC chicken.
‘Buckquet’, as you may have guessed, is a portmanteau of “bucket” and “bouquet.” KFC says it’s pronounced as “buck-kay,” and goes so far as to liken the marriage of blooms and fried chicken to iconic duos “Kravis, Bennifer, [and] Brangelina.”
The bundle arrives with 12 multicolored roses—courtesy of flower delivery service Proflowers—a glass vase, a KFC vase label, a Mother’s Day card, and eight skewers for easy arrangement.
Yep, there’s no mention of fried chicken on that list—and that’s because the chicken is sold separately. In fact, customers just have to order the KFC Side Lovers Meal via the KFC website or app to be able to redeem the Buckquet. They can also purchase the DIY floral arrangement from the Proflowers website for US$50.

Finger-lickin’ goodness or tender-lovin’ care? Why not both?
The Side Lovers Meal includes eight Extra Crispy tenders or eight pieces of fried chicken, four biscuits, and three large sides of your choosing. Appropriately, the Buckquet kit gives you eight skewers for those pieces of chicken.
