Small business owners take on countless jobs, from ironing out the logistics to setting up a storefront, providing customer support, and creating content. To lend a hand, industry juggernauts Adobe and Meta have teamed up to provide free training sessions designed to simplify the process.
The all-new Express Your Brand program, announced in time for Small Business Week, has been in the works for a year. It aims to equip small businesses with essential creative and marketing skills. The initiative “will couple tangible skills training with inspiration and community-building to empower small businesses across the country,” explains Adobe.
Much of the curriculum—as hinted in the name—will focus on teaching business owners to produce brand assets via Adobe Express (formerly Adobe Spark), an app with a trove of thousands of templates, fonts, and other rich assets that creators can use to easily edit images, design logos, or create promotional material without starting from scratch.

Adobe Express is available in web and mobile formats, and its basic version is free.
Meta experts will then step in with tips on how businesses can market their products and services on Instagram and Facebook. The program will also be joined by fellow business owners, who will offer brand-building advice and inspiration to attendees.
Express Your Brand will launch on May 17 with a class led by realtor Chrishell Stause, along with Adobe and Meta experts, about keeping audiences engaged on social media.
In addition to the education program, Adobe and Meta will also sponsor a full year of Adobe Express premium subscriptions for 10,000 Black, Latinx, and Hispanic-owned businesses so as to increase the visibility of minority voices in the small business community.
