Apple Users Could Instantly Bypass CAPTCHA Checks In New iOS 16

We’ve all been there—trying to sign in to an account or place an order online, but not till we’ve correctly identified all the fire hydrants in the image!
While CAPTCHAs have become a ubiquitous part of our online existence, and serve a useful purpose of identifying spam bots, it’s no secret it can become increasingly annoying to have to answer a whole series of questions before you’re allowed to enter a desired webpage.
As such, recent rumors have surfaced that Apple’s forthcoming iOS 16, which is slated to release in the fall, could help users automatically bypass CAPTCHAs through ‘Automatic Verification’, a feature that will identify you to the web address as a human.
According to iDownloadBlog, the technology giant has reportedly worked together with cloud delivery networks Cloudflare and Fastly to come up with this function, which could mean the feature might work on the millions of applications and websites powered by the two companies.
Although iOS 16 may not prevent you from seeing a CAPTCHA ever again, there’s a good chance it’ll minimize the annoyances once you make the switch. Fingers crossed users will never have to play guessing games with fuzzy images ever again.
