Ritz Reveals How Several Cultures Celebrate The Holidays With Diverse Cookbook

Ritz Crackers is pulling up a seat at the dinner table this holiday season with a cookbook featuring cuisines and traditions worldwide.
Kicking off the Our Holidays campaign is a 15-second spot produced by The Martin Agency that captures the festivities in the perspectives of families of various cultures. The video encourages viewers to open their arms to the people around them this Christmas, coming together and sharing food with one another.
A three-part campaign follows immigrant families in California, New York, and Georgia who have woven their native roots into a traditional American Christmas. As Ritz is working with Bon Appetit for the campaign, staff from the food magazine will visit each family, tour their pantries, and even cook with them.
Accompanying the initiative is a book written in tandem with Bon Appetit and Spark Foundry called A Taste of Welcome: A Celebration of Food, spotlighting Ethiopian-born chef Marcus Samuelsson.
Samuelsson was raised in Sweden, and his cross-cultural upbringing provides depth to the cookbook as he recognizes the value of accepting and appreciating all cultures.
Home chefs can take inspiration from recipes worldwide. These include dishes like Brigadeiro, Salvadorian Fried Beans, and Ashta Sweet Cream—all of which, of course, incorporate Ritz Crackers.
Bon Appetit will also be hosting the videos on its streaming channels and platforms, and the cookbook will be up for sale in December.
