LEGO Blooms Into The New Year With Dried Flowers & More Wildflower Bouquets
By Nicole Rodrigues, 12 Jan 2023
LEGO is branching its lineup of buildable flowers out even more with two new additions to the collection: Wildflower Bouquet and Dried Flower Centerpiece.
The Wildflower Bouquet set has eight vibrant species, including Welsh poppies, cow parsley, lavenders, cornflowers, leatherleaf ferns, gerbera, daisies, larkspurs, and lupins. Each flower sits on an adjustable stem so that you can create the perfect bouquet for your home that will never die.
The set is meant to complement the previously released LEGO Flower Bouquet, allowing eager builders and fellow green thumbs out there to design one large bouquet or separate the flowers into smaller posies.
Next up is the Dried Flower Centerpiece. Unlike the bright blues, pinks, and greens of the Wildflower set, this one holds earthier fall tones in browns, oranges, and reds. Gerberas and roses are at the heart of the centerpiece, which, when completed, can be hung on the wall or placed on the dining table as an evergreen flower arrangement.
LEGO notes that the flowers are meant to conjure up togetherness among grownup fans, and it suggests two people working on the project at once to foster quality time. With Valentine’s day around the corner, this could be a great date activity for you and your partner. And if you find yourself single this year, this could be the perfect thing to gift yourself or a friend.
The Wildflower Bouquet comes with 939 pieces, and the Dried Flower Centerpiece has 812 pieces. Both will be sold for US$59.99 and US$49.99, respectively.
