Popeyes Debuts ‘Chicken Hotline’ That Cooks Problems Into Yummy Nuggets
By Alexa Heah, 15 Feb 2023
Ever turn to fast food for relief in times of distress? Popeyes knows the comfort that fried chicken serves up, and so, to indulge troubled customers with some respite, the restaurant chain in Singapore is now cooking up Aunty Agony services.
In a collaboration between Popeyes Singapore and creative agency Happiness Saigon, hangry customers can now dial the Chicken Hotline—a toll-free number anyone can use to vent their struggles.
Those who’ve successfully ranted their frustrations to the chicken chain will receive a free six-piece Buttermilk Chicken Nuggets, so they’ll finally enjoy some “piece” of mind to soothe their troubled souls.
Jazz Tonna, Partner at Happiness Saigon, told LBB Online it wanted to turn a familiar adage into one to do with crispy nuggets instead, so that fans think “when life gives you problems, Popeyes gives you chicken.”
Eat it, problems!
