Donald Trump has unveiled what may be the most arresting memorabilia MAGA supporters can get their hands on. The former US president has introduced Mugshot Edition digital trading cards harking back to his voluntary surrender at Fulton County Jail over racketeering and related charges.
Announced in a post on Trump’s Truth Social platform, the collection comprises 100,000 cards, each one a non-fungible token tagged at US$99. For the first time, the digital collectibles arrive with physical cards, with 2,024 of them touting varying degrees of rarity.

Distinctly, the limited-edition cards are stamped with a ‘Mugshot Edition’ label, alluding to his arrest on August 24, 2023.
The tangible cards are a bonus for fans who purchase 47 or more of the digital versions in a single transaction. They include the police photo itself, attached with physical scraps of the suit and tie that Trump wore that day.
OMG. Trump is doing another set of digital cards. "Mugshot Edition!" But get this: if you buy 47 cards @ $99 each, you will get a BONUS card with a part of suit he wore in the mugshot. The grift is so strong. pic.twitter.com/dqfD2ySEuF

Trump pitches the edition as a sentimental gift, suggesting, “This is something to give to your family, to your kids, grandchildren.” In a bid to make them more collectible, 25 of these cards will bear his personal signature.

The venture calls back to Trump’s indictment on 13 felony charges related to the 2020 election in Georgia. Rather than shutting down this chapter, the former POTUS has brazenly capitalized on it, incorporating his mugshot into a range of merchandise, including Christmas wrapping paper. His team hails the picture as “the first-ever mugshot of a United States President” and a “testament to resilience.”

The first 200 buyers using cryptocurrency to purchase 100 cards are promised a unique NFT, additional physical cards, and an exclusive invitation to dine with Trump and his family at his Mar-a-Lago estate.

Previous releases of Trump’s digital trading cards have seen substantial commercial success, generating a combined US$9 million in sales.
“Some people call these cards pop art or modern art. I wish I looked as good as I do on those cards, that I can tell you,” Trump proclaims in his video. “They give me muscles where, believe me, I don’t have them.”
