PANTONE’s newest collaboration doesn’t just color outside the lines—it goes straight for your bottom line! The color authority has paired up with underwear and lingerie brand Hanky Panky to bring a splash of chromatic history to intimate apparel, celebrating 25 years of Color of the Year.

The spectrum of undies transforms Hanky Panky’s Signature Lace thong—dubbed the “World’s Most Comfortable Thong”—into a wearable timeline, starting with Cerulean from 2000 and ending with 2022’s Very Peri, 2023’s Viva Magenta, and 2024’s Peach Fuzz.

The styles, available in low-rise and original-rise fits, are a nod to the most unforgettable fashion highlights of the 2000s. Hanky Panky’s Signature Lace, touted for its flexibility and softness, is designed to complement the body’s natural movement, allowing wearers to feel both supported and sexy. In this journey through 25 years of color, wearers are invited to embrace past trends while expressing themselves in the present.

“Partnering with Hanky Panky offers a wonderful opportunity to commemorate the past 25 years of the PANTONE Color of the Year, showcasing the journey from 2000 to present and highlighting how color reflects and influences society and global culture,” shares Laurie Pressman, vice president of the PANTONE Color Institute. “It’s exciting to see our PANTONE Color of the Year selections continue to resonate and remain relevant, even decades later. In today’s era of Y2K nostalgia, this collaboration is a delightful walk down memory lane and a unique holiday gift for yourself or someone special.”

“We’ve been making the world’s most comfortable and best-selling thongs since 1977, and we can’t wait for shoppers to experience these vibrant, joyful new colors for themselves and as fresh holiday gifts,” Berger expresses.

Available through the Hanky Panky website, the collection arrives just in time for the holiday season. Don’t get your panties in a twist—instead of scarfing down chocolates from advent calendars, how about pampering yourself in style and color?
