Now that most people are working remotely, virtual conference apps like Zoom are quickly becoming the go-to source for those gatherings.
If you wish to amp up your Zoom backgrounds, Mike Winkelmann—famously known as Beeple, the artist whose NFT raked in US$69 million—will teach you how to create a custom zoom background using stock imagery in a nifty tutorial.
In the four-minute video, Beeple demonstrates his process in creating a video call background featuring a pink forested landscape. Tools used in the tutorial include Cinema 4d and a plug-in called Forrester.
From Adobe Stock, he picked out various textures for the plants and the surroundings. He also chose a timelapse video of clouds to elevate the look. The step-by-step video shows how he incorporates the different elements together and animates them at the end.
