McDonald’s Golden Arches logo is one of the most recognizable icons in the world; you could spot the signature yellow sign anywhere and know there’s a McDonald’s outlet nearby.
However, there’s one place where the branding isn’t so golden; in fact, it’s blue. On the inside, the McDonald’s outlet in Sedona, Arizona, looks similar to the numerous restaurants around the world, but there’s something a little different about its sign.
According to Oddity Central, this is because local authorities in Sedona wanted all businesses to blend into the natural landscape of the picturesque desert and surrounding red rock formations.
The yellow Golden Arches would be too distracting, so when the McDonald’s outlet opened, it compromised and used a teal logo instead.
Now, the McDonald’s restaurant has become somewhat of a tourist attraction, with people stopping by just to take a picture with the one-of-a-kind teal sign.
