When Elon Musk tires out from playing puppet master of the crypto market, he could escape into one of these Cybertruck adventure pods.
Manufacturers have already started offering campers to add to the Tesla pickup even before it hits the road. Following the bizarre ‘CyberLandr’, Canada-based Loki Basecamp has designed a Cybertruck-ready modular shell to help you fulfill your dreams of living on a Cybertruck.
Fitted into the Cybertruck’s bed, the four-season pod gives the truck a roof rack, a living space with a sofa bed, a kitchenette with an induction cooktop, pull-out drawers, ports and outlets, and a restroom, allowing you to conveniently live off the grid all year.
Living up to Tesla’s sustainability goals, the camper is built with a smart power system and solar panels, as well as climate controls to keep the double-insulated pod at optimal temperatures.
All these turn the Cybertruck into a self-sufficient micro-home, which means you’ll have to shell out a pretty penny for the camper. Preorders are open now, and prices start at a cool US$135,000.
