Lego and Nintendo have finally unveiled the highly-anticipated Super Mario 64 Block Set, a 2,064-piece marvel which comes with microscope levels, including Peach’s Castle.
Other highlights include the Bob-omb Battlefield, Cool, Cool Mountain, and Lethal Lava Trouble, which will all magically appear as you unfold the large box. The box itself is fashioned like the question mark blocks seen in the hit game.
Collectors will also get to keep exclusive micro figures of Mario and Princess Peach, with the option of pairing the box with a full-sized Mario or Luigi for interactive play.
Play isn’t static at all, as it comes with “unique music and sounds from the video game,” as well as “hidden Power Stars that reveal secret reactions from the figures,” as per Engadget.
The release adds to the two companies’ extensive Super Mario collection.
“It’s difficult to imagine the Super Mario Universe without the classic game’s iconic levels full of discovery and secrets,” said Pablo González from Lego.
The $170 Super Mario 64 Block Set will be available at Lego stores and on its official website from October 1.
