Coca-Cola has been stirring up the soda game with a “space beverage” and a drink that tastes like the “playfulness of pixels.” Its latest, and last, of the Creations series this year is said to embody “technicolor” and “surrealism of the subconscious.”
The drink, which will be available throughout the US and Canada beginning August 15, mixes “playfully vibrant flavor notes” with the unmistakable taste of Coca-Cola to evoke feelings of endless creativity and imagination.
“Coca-Cola Dreamworld taps into Gen Z’s passion for the infinite potential of the mind by exploring what a dream tastes like,” said Alessandra Cascino, Creative & Shopper Program Director, Coca-Cola North America Operating Unit.
“Like the Coca-Cola Creations that came before it, Dreamworld plays with the unexpected and will no doubt provoke discovery and debate among consumers… which we welcome.”
Naturally, the beverage will present in a fantastical-looking can that matches the drink’s flavor, merging whimsical shapes, electric colors, and 3D motifs to create a visual landscape that’s, well… dreamlike.
As with the other launches, several immersive digital experiences will accompany the drink’s release.
Consumers can scan any Dreamworld package with their smartphones to access the Coca-Cola Creations Hub, where they’ll be treated to an augmented-reality (AR) music experience with Tomorrowland, a Dreamworld-inspired digital fashion collection, and more.
