Leica is shooting for golden hour, but in the world of horology. After releasing black-and-white watches that pay tribute to its M11 Monochrom camera and one that plays with light and shadow, the imaging giant is striking gold with an opulent ZM 1 Gold timepiece.

Embracing the elegance and durability of 18K gold and Grade 5 Titanium, the ZM 1 Gold is a contemporary nod to the IA Luxus, Leica’s first golden edition camera that was introduced in 1929. As such, it’s a wearable piece of the company’s storied history.
The sunburst effect on the dial, paired with the warmth of the gold galvanized hands and indexes, radiates luxury, while inside, the Leica Caliber LH1001 movement—hand-assembled in Germany—beats at its heart.

The uniqueness of the ZM 1 Gold lies in its patented push-crown mechanism, making time setting a breeze. The watch is completed with a strap crafted from premium alligator leather, naturally tanned in Italy and hand-stitched in Geneva, culminating in a refined gray-brown shade that complements the gold buckle.
