Kanye West Files Quirky New Blue Trademark For Unknown Fashion Venture
By Alexa Heah, 25 Aug 2022
Fashion mogul Kanye West is back with yet another trademark filing, this time for one similar to the bottle cap-like logo he registered just last month—but in blue.
According to TMZ, which first broke the story, it seems that the rapper may have changed his mind on the original logo being colorless, with the most recent documents stating that the color blue “is claimed as a feature of the mark.”
Fans were quick to point out that the shade of blue used on the new logo bore a resemblance to the one used on his Jesus Is King album, though there doesn’t seem to be any obvious correlation between the two projects at the moment.
If you were wondering if West is planning another move in the fashion industry, you’d be right. The filing registered the trademark for “retail stores, online ordering services, and online retail store services including clothing, footwear, and headwear.”
Will this logo tie in with the ‘YZYSPLY’ name trademarked in June? No one knows for sure, but with the media sensation known for dabbling in everything from a DONDA foam car to McDonald’s packaging, it’s hard to imagine what’s going to happen next.

The logo appears to be a blue circle with a "fluted" exterior line.
The filing claims that Kayne will offer clothing, footwear and accessories in connection with the logo.#kanye #kanyewest pic.twitter.com/Xjf9kTGBZS
